Over the years, I’ve traveled to dozens of countries, lived abroad twice, and found joy in exploring the world solo, with friends, with my husband—and now, most often, with my favorite travel partner, my curious six-year-old daughter.

I feel most like myself when I’m adventuring. And in this season of midlife, I find myself craving more of it—especially with the people I love most. My favorite way to explore? Through food. Give me a street market, a local cooking class, or a food tour led by someone who knows all the stories behind the flavors, and I’m completely in my element.

While over the years I’ve wandered in Southeast Asia, Northern Africa, Central America, the US and Canada, Europe has my heart.

I know that travel—especially solo travel—can sound intimidating. But the truth is, it’s exhilarating. You don’t have to figure it all out the hard way (though I’ll admit, some of my best memories have come from foiled plans). And you definitely don’t need to spend thousands on a travel agent to have a thoughtful, well-fed adventure.

I’m here to help make it feel doable, delicious, and deeply worth it—whether you’re planning your first solo escape, a once-in-a-lifetime trip with your best friend, or a family adventure with snacks packed and dreams in tow.
